Tortured Soul: A Collection of Poetry

Tortured Soul is a collection of poetry from the childhood experiences of Mach Person. Many of which were written during her youth. In the first volume of Tortured Soul, Mach’s poetry covers experiences of loss, abuse, violence, and sex. Through the art of the written word, she was able to express and briefly expel the feelings and emotions that came with some of these traumatic events. Now, nearly fifteen years later and compelled to share her experience, Mach hopes that her words will reach others. Through others, she hopes to answer questions she has longed to answer for herself. “Am I this way because of these encounters? Or am I this way because this is who I am meant to be? How can we be sure that our encounters and experiences are what makes us? Is it not our soul that makes us who we are? Not our experiences?
